Born from Puerto Rican parents, Delilah was born and raised in a tough Chicago neighborhood. As a young child, she set her eyes on becoming a first-generation college graduate with aspirations of becoming an attorney. In 1998, her parents broke out of the inner city and moved to Ohio. This is where Delilah identified a gap between the availability and demand for Spanish-speaking attorneys. With this in mind, she was committed to use her native fluency and cultural awareness as she began her educational and professional career.
In 2006, Delilah graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Communications, a Minor in Spanish, and a Certificate in Real Estate. She then went on to Capital University Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
In 2020, while serving in the role of Guardian ad litem, Delilah’s safety was threatened. Her frightening experience became the inspiration for the introduction of Ohio House Bill 226. The bill would make it a first-degree misdemeanor for someone to abuse, threaten, or harass guardian ad litems while they are carrying out their court-mandated duties. Delilah testified before the Ohio Criminal Justice Committee where the bill passed by unanimous vote. The bill is currently before the Ohio Senate.
Delilah has been featured on ABC-6 TV “Ask the Attorney Panel” and was featured on NBC4. She serves as a board member for two local non-profit organizations, Youth Advocate Services and Student Success Stores.

CASEY
From our first consultation we knew we picked the right representation with Delilah. She had a quick and detailed answer for every single question we had over the course of our case. She always shot us straight, and never let us get too high or too low with what she thought the outcome would be. She was just very honest, and kept us well informed. I think our favorite thing about her was that she really seemed to take our case personal. If we reviewed a conversation or situation that happened with the other party she reacted towards us like it was happening to her. We are thankful we had her. Highly Recommended!!!.”
